This question may have been asked before, but I did a Forum search and couldn't find the answer.

Can the LionChief Universal Remote run a TMCC locomotive?

Only the latest offerings cataloged as LC+2.0.  Anything previous to that no.  It can operate Legacy engines that carry the Bluetooth label as well.

In short nothing that is only TMCC or Legacy.  It must have the Bluetooth capability as well.

Thank you, Marty.

This Forum is so fantastic. I ask a technical question before 7 AM and get an answer in 5 minutes! Amazing!

Arnold

I can jump in though and say I have been working on this exact feature with my LC Gateway project and have just recorded a fresh demo where I use a regular LC remote to control a non Bluetooth Legacy locomotive and a simple TMCC speeder.

@Arnold D. Cribari what did you have in mind when you were asking about this?

@MartyE I would say this fills in the gap you mentioned right? Though to be fair this does require an separate module (my LC Gateway in this case) and your answer to question (out of the box) is still correct of course.
