I just picked this up... Lionel 32997 Aluminum Rico Station No. 501.
Anyone have one of these. I'd like to see a few "in-scene" if photos are available.

Congratulations, Dennis, Lionel's Rico Station is a landmark O-scale building in my view, with the Aluminum version being a venerable structure -- one of the modern Lionel company's better accessories. It's quite sturdy and as detailed as any plastic or brass structure I've ever seen.

THANK YOU PAUL! I had seen quite a few of the plastic kits in-scene (very nice)... but, not so much the Aluminum version. I've been patient and finally a C9 showed up and I grabbed it.
That Stone building (Mill House?) to the left looks particularly sweet as well!
Dennis - that other building is a Railking Grainery structure - and I painted and weathered it using basic latex craft store paints and then mortared it using Robert's brick mortar. I weathered the roof using India ink diluted with alcohol. The difference is between night and day, and trust me if I can do it anyone can.
A frontal shot of the landmark Lionel Aluminum Rico Station. While I thought the first Rico station was a classic Postwar accessory, the plastic kit was first introduced in 1976. The plastic and aluminum versions are modeled after a Victorian station in Rico, CO.

Great scene. I like crowded urban building scenes that mimic the real world of tight real estate, with the tracks running through the congested areas. Nice job!
I wonder why Railking called a granary a "grainery"? It shouldn't have been so hard to find the correct spelling. Just typing it into this reply gets me the red squiggly line of Spellcheck.
