Hi, this is my first post here. I recently bought a 385E. I've seen some with upper headlight lenses installed. Anyone know of a source? I've looked on-line without success. I'm attaching a photo of one with green lenses. Clear would be fine too. Thanks!

The green ones are refered to as classification lights. Try George Tebolt...

I think the Lionel part number is 62-7 for Green or 62-6 for Red. You would need two for a locomotive. These should be available through the common parts supplies (Olsen's Toy Train Parts, Smitty's Toy Train Parts, Train Tender... the list goes on)
They are in stock @ $ .50 each, red or green, + $1.00 postage / handling. Harry
Outstanding! Thanks so much for all the help.

Hi Harry, thanks for responding. I'd already placed an order for the lenses elsewhere. But I just noticed the red light underneath the engine has gone out, and I should probably get a replacement for the headlight as well. I'm sure you carry those.
I wanted to ask your advice. This is a great engine, and is part of my effort to create the "perfect train" around my Christmas tree. It never had a whistle, chugger, or roller pick-ups installed in the tinder. I'd like to add a whistle and bell- not interested in other sounds. I know Dallee electronics offers sound systems. It occurred to me that I could buy a tinder with the pick-ups, and swap it out on mine, then just resell the extra tinder. That might take a long time on ebay. Any other ideas? I'd rather not run wires from the engine to the tinder.
Thanks,
Bill
Bill,
The fire box red bulb is our # 432R @ $ 1.00. The headlight bulb is our # 432C @ $ .80
The tender crossbar w/ roller pick up is available @ $4.00 ea. and mounts between the side frames of your existing trucks. The Dallee line I do not handle, but you can buy direct from Dallee. Harry
Harry, that sounds great. I guess I'll order two of the pick-ups like the originals had. Does adding pick-ups require holes to be drilled for the wires to go inside the tinder? Bill
Most floors have the holes pre-stamped for the whistle / wires, weather they came w / or w/o the whistle. Harry
I'm on your site placing the order. What's the part number for the tender crossbar pickup? Couldn't seem to find it. Thanks again
