I have been watching eBay for a used 180 watt power brick and the bidding is out of control.  I'm on VA disability  and hope to find one for a reasonable price,  I just can't financially compete with bidding frenzy on eBay.  I'm trying to build a layout for therapy so if anyone out there can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Considering that you now have 80 watts of power and want to go up to 180 watts, why do you need the TPC 400?  I don't think you need that and you could sell it to get a brick or two.  I found a couple of bricks by buying the transformer with the bricks.  Some reason they can be cheaper then buying a couple of bricks.

RBOATERTOO, thanks for the tip. My initial layout is going to be 30' x 12' with 6 60 curves. Eventually, I will be building a tunnel pass through a wall and use a, couple switches to add a 14' x 14' loop on a shelf below the ceiling around my sports room and bar. I'm using 36" span girder bridges to run across the top of the windows.
