Lionel 691-DREU-A conversion to TMCC (or what modelERR?)

I too am looking for steps, processes, or soldering to convert a Rio Grande SD-40T-2 that has conventional control to wonder what to replace the 691-DREU-A motherboard? with that would give me the control of TMCC via command control. There are 2 DC motors, with F & B lights, electrocouplers, & diesel sounds via a sound pcb with the tag "AD1". Sound would be nice, but not neccessary.

What does ERR offer that will adapt to make this engine operate in command control?

You can use the ERR Cruise Commander to give this locomotive command operation with cruise control. The ERR RailSounds Commander for Diesel, SD40/50/60 will give you sound. You won't be able to use any of the existing electronics.
