Lionel Accessory Motor Controller Connection

I would like to use a Lionel Accessory Motor Controller to be able to control a turntable by TMCC. It says you have to connect it via 3-wire cable (6-14191) to a Command Base plugging it into the computer connection. The only Command Base I have is already connected by another cable to a TIU. So, Do I need a 2nd. Command Base, and if I do will the 2 Command Bases interfere with each other? Or is there a way to splice the two cables together?
