Re: Lionel Cab 2 CTC Button Issue

Good evening everyone, I have been having a problem with my Cab 2 Remote control. For some reason, the CTC button no longer is able to toggle the remote on and off. I have found that alternative methods work just fine (toggling the reset button on the back of the remote/removing and re-adding the batteries) to turn the remote on and off. Additionally, the CTC button works fine for other applications, and the system otherwise works without any problems. Any idea on what the issue could be? Thanks

Are you holding it down for a few seconds? If that doesn't work. Contact Lionel for an RA.

Just an idea before having to send it into Lionel. Try updating the Cab-2. You can use whatever software you have but maybe something funny just happens to the programming. It’s a easy enough fix to try

I'm with Zach, if the button works otherwise, I'd try reloading the software.

Thanks for the suggestions, tried reloading the software (also tried different software versions) and still the same issue. I had been putting this off since the remote otherwise works great, but now that it's being discontinued probably should get it fixed before its too late haha
