I'd been wanting to track down this locomotive for a while, as it seemed so visibly striking in all the pictures I'd seen. Thanks to a forum member, I was recently able to get my hands on it.
I don't typically purchase post-1990's locomotives, as I'm all-conventional and don't want to pay for electronics--but the opportunity for a modern conventional loco was too much to pass up. In person, I'm blown away by it, and I'm stunned by how smoothly and quietly it operates.
Took a lengthy album's worth of pictures (140+), here. I believe there were several other roads in this series. Definitely highly recommended to other conventional runners.
