Hi, I found a 1935 Flying Yankee Set without a motor, so I'm looking for a functioning motor assembly for the locomotive.  I'd like to run this set at Christmas and at our local train show.  Please send me an email (in profile) if you have one to sell OR if you know of a dealer who I could try.  If you know of any other Lionel locomotives that used the same motor assembly that would also be very helpful so please feel free to post that info.  Thanks!

The Lionel 616M-13 Motor is very similar to the 636M-1 Motor and the 752M-33 Motors, but they are not interchangeable. It may be possible to convert one of the those other motors by changing the motor and headlight mounting hardware, pickups, and a few other things. However, I think you will find that obtaining the parts to change it all over are also hard to find. Your best bet is to find another Flying Yankee set that has a motor.
