I want to thank you for doing the Frisco in this long awaited paint scheme. I will order a set. But when it comes to Road names / engine numbers maybe you can reconsider 2003 "Steel Dust". 2006 "Traveler" is great and hope it stays in the set as 2006-2022 started life as E8's.

The reason on the 2003 is that it started life a Texas Special E7 (numbers 2000-2005) and even after rebuilding retained the vertical vent panel behind the cab door and did not have roof top vent covers. It would be great to see this unit number switched out with any from 2007-2022.

Numbers I like are 2007 "Whirlaway", 2009 "Jet Pilot" and 2013 "Sea Biscuit" - Great History. Any way you can pick the new number and I would gladly take it.

Thank you

Any Frisco E8s that are done usually end up being pretty scarce. I will consider getting the new Lionel E8 if they get the colors right and use horse names that haven’t been done yet by any one (excluding Key).  For reference and comparison, MTH has done only twice in history of Company. 2002 ABA is impossible to find (2007 Whirlaway, 2010 Count Fleet) and nice 2017 redo ( 2003 Sea Biscuit, 2008 Messenger, 2016 Citation-unpowered). The “whiskers” on these is a later simple scheme. The Lionel new issue shows and earlier more “difficult” whisker paint scheme that is nicely different and desirable. I hope this really is produced as such.
If any one is interested, MTH shows one dealer having an unpowered “A” unit. (I’m surprised)
Also, if anyone wants to see the 2017 MTH issue, I can post.

Oops. Posted Sea Biscuit was 2003. Actually 2013.   Lying eyes. Sorry for bad info.
