Lionel Legacy and TMCC Reset Codes?

There is no "reset" code for either of these.  A full reset is accomplished by simply reprogramming their TMCC address.  FWIW, your whistle smoke fan issue will not be corrected by a reset, it will require repair.

Lionel TMCC Southern Pacific Dash 9 with Pullmore Motors (it runs in TMCC Command Mode, but the Horn and Bell do not respond to the remote-they do respond to the DC offset Whistle and Bell Buttons on the transformer).  Number on end of box is:  72-8228-250

This appears to be another instance of looking for a reset to solve a hardware issue.  The fact that the sound responds to the horn/bell buttons indicates an actual hardware issue.
