I saw that you lost your changes in the Settings menu when you disconnected the engine.  I am using the app on an iPhone and iPad and the settings are kept when the engine is disconnected.  If the app is restarted at some later time and the engine connected, settings like the momentum do not revert to default values.  If I set different setting options when the engine is connected to the iPad, the app on each device keeps the settings made by that device.  My app is version 1.2.  I wonder why your app works differently since the video clearly shows your values reverted to the default values.

The settings stay if i don’t close down the app, but if you close the app completely and open it up, they default back.  The manual also states this is how it works so not sure how yours could be staying.  I’d like to see a video of that. Also are using a LionChief or LionChief plus engine?  Neither my LionChief or legacy engine kept those settings after shutdown of app.  That was an Ipad pro I was using.  Also when I look in settings my version is 1.1.8 dated oct 2018.  I just downloaded it when I got the H10.  There is no 1.2 for LionChief app on App Store so not sure what you are looking at.  It is 1.1.8.

Sorry, it's the remote that is v1.2.  My app is 1.18x01, Oct 9, 2018.  I think I see what the difference is.  I am using old devices to run the LionChief Plus diesels on the same layout where the Cab2 is installed.  I don't close the app at the end of the session.  I either disconnect the engine or just turn the power off.  At a later time when I click on the apps icon and reconnect the engine, the settings are preserved as you have indicated.  If I actually force close the app the settings are lost just as you showed in the video.  Thank you for clarifying this for me.

That makes sense. I guess using dedicated devices you never shut down the app on is a work around.  I don’t have extra iOS devices so I have to shut the app down or it kills the battery.

Sean, I recently saw your Polar Express and Hogwarts videos and will watch this next.  It's nice to see someone with a layout like yours still have non-scale trains to have fun with.  I am really glad that you are still doing videos.  I was worried that you were done when you posted your final layout video.  I really like your deliberate, thorough style of your videos.  I also never tired of looking at your incredible layout.  I can tell that you are a perfectionist and a craftsman from the benchwork to the scenery to the building and accessory placement.  And you have one of the cleanest layout rooms I have ever seen.
