As with the 120th engine it gives me an option to buy the engine since I don’t collect New York Central or Southern Pacific. I’m a little concerned over the statement at the top. If I’m pre-ordering an engine the artwork/color/etc. should be illustrated in the advertisement. Otherwise I’m ordering in the wind. Help us out Lionel!!!!

I think it's cool but I am concerned that Lionel will have contributed to mental health problems amongst three rail hobbyists who do not like fantasy paint schemes

Thanks for thinking about the rest of us, but we have plenty of other things to spin our brains.

Seriously though, three-rail trains are toys.  These locomotives of the year are clearly toys, and this new one is a grand one at that, although it's not my style so I won't be buying one.

I think that it's fair to say that most of us don't have a big problem with them or our numbers would be dwindling, and the number of 2-Railers would be increasing substantially, because of things like this.

Neither appears to be happening.

Had some fun with the new loco tonight with @leapinlarry and @will2926! I might do a review video on this one soon, for those who want to see it in more detail

I get that these don't appeal to everyone but I kinda like the "Lionel" branded locos.  They seem to sell well enough and in reality it's just another fantasy pain job.  Enjoy your locomotive!
