Hope all is well with you and the family!  Yea, I think some of us train enthusiasts either know someone or can even identify as the Know It All Kid sometimes!  We thought it was pretty unique as he has never appeared on any Lionel Polar express cars before.  I still laugh every time I see that movie clip!  Reminds me of one of our employees!  I tell him all the time that's his twin lol

How sad it is when you realize that the 1225 wasn't a Baldwin, but instead it is a Lima locomotive. The know it all didn't know.

That was actually the point of him saying it was a Baldwin locomotive and not a Lima, to prove he was not actually a know-it-all. To the average viewer when he rattles off all of the facts about the engine it gives the appearance that he does know it all but by the end of the movie he learns to listen to others knowledge to learn rather than thinking he knows everything.
