I hope you are having a great summer! Trying this post a little differently …
Has anyone put some passenger cars from each of these two Lionel sets together on the same train?
- 2019 - Lionel Norfolk Southern 611 Excursion Coach passenger coach sets (4-pack-#1927200, 2-pack-#1927600)
- 2020 - Lionel Norfolk Southern Executive Train passenger car sets (4-pack-#2027180, 2-pack-#2027190)
Please share any views you may have on these topics or topics of your own:
- Do the cars look good together on the same train?
- Do the Tucson colors of each set match? If not, do the cars complement each other?
- For similar car types (e.g. passenger coach) are there distinguishing design / detail features on one set that are not on the other set?
- Would you ever run cars from each set together on the same train? Why or why not?
- What engine(s) would you (use, avoid) to pull a mixed set?
Please share your perspectives.

P.S. I might try this but all I have is very small Lionel pictures to judge from. If anyone has done this it would be nice to know their experience.
