Hello all, new member here n getting back into 027 n 0 gauge Lionel only! I have a 6-8702 Southern crescent n smoke is barley coming out of it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! P.S. not sure how to post here either!

Happy to hear you have a renewed interest in this wonderful hobby!  It sounds like the smoke unit on the 8702 is not functioning correctly.  This can happen for various reasons.  It may just need cleaned or maybe it needs replaced. E-mail me at lotsbusinessoffice@gmail.com and I'll forward your inquiry to a LOTS member who has been repairing trains in the Chicagoland area for 30 years.  He's not on the forum, but he's always willing to help.

Glad you like the Celestial Seasonings tea car!  You are the proud owner of 1 of only 318 produced : )  It was all that Larry and I envisioned and more when suggesting it after our visit to the factory in Boulder!  I'm actually enjoying a cup right now.  Thanks for being a LOTS Member!

I'm clueless, but I'm sure an authorized Lionel Service Station Rep would know.  If you don't want me to ask LOTS Member Cris Matuszak in Chicago, you might check this list  http://www.lionel.com/articles...l-Authorized-Dealers for one close to you or become friends/join a local O-gauge modular club.  Often times one of the members has lots of experience.

I just received my LOTS journal for December.  On the second page is the newest convention car, a Louisville and Nashville, Evans auto loader.  It comes with four Corvette convertibles.  Definitely my next LOTS purchase.

Paul is great to talk with, and I have always loved those LOTS cars.  Here is the Samuel Adams car, then some of my 9 LOTS Santa Fe club cars.

Also, GG1Man is right-they DO look great with a NJHR car!

Hi Jim, It's great to be here! Time keeps marching on! I'll celebrate 23 years with LOTS on January 2! I've enjoyed meeting lots of wonderful people in the hobby and look forward to many more!
