Selling a beautiful excellent to excellent plus plus 1951 Lionel 2023 passenger set. The engines have barely been run and still have the original rubber band around the Battery area, see picture. I don't think the cabs were taken off since they were new. I don't know what kind of rubber bands Lionel used but they are still perfect. I have a brand new set of these engines and they also have the rubber band. The engine runs fine and the E unit works good. I did not try the horn. The decals and bodies are perfect with no warpage on the bodies. Passenger cars are in the same shape but the boxes except one are crappy. This is a extremely hard set to find in this shape because of the silver paint obviously. I have on this site for over 45 years. Asking $465 for the set plus postage. If interested jba435@gmail.com.
