Here’s a few quick phone shots and a YouTube of my newest engine. I have been wanting a 1225 to pull a MI based freight train around the layout and ordered this sometime last year. I filled in the tender beam and mounted a Kadee 805 and did some medium-strength weathering. I tried copying the Lerro photo freight from a few years ago with the cars I have.

Beautiful work, Norm! Do you live in MI? I live up near Traverse City.

My uncle (who worked at the Ford Rouge plant) used to tell me that he was so disgusted when C&O took over the Pere Marquette, because PM equipment was always so clean and well maintained before the merger.

Very nice Norm.

Gramps had the same opinion on PM vs C&O.  I thought it too clean till you reminded me Jeff.

Great Gramps put in over 60years with the Fords, he stopped when the Rouge did.(I'm Downriver (a group of S. Detroit suburbs)  Cherry Fests (becamepart of my pals gout prevention), salmon off the docks near the m.o.w. yard, climbing on the "caboose plow", and Vette racing downhill. That's TC memories for me!  I love Michigan top to bottom, but the real love is for the U.P.. I only consider myself a part time troll. (Trolls live below the bridge; the Mac )
