Lionel Poultry Sound Car

Apologies for posting this here, but I feel this group has the most electronics know how. Would like to know if anyone has converted poultry car to simple sounds on or off, instead of just a one time activation using the uncoupler track. Currently this car does not make continuous sound, only one sound each time it is armed and then activated via uncoupler.
