Where would I find an exploded diagram of this accessory? It does not appear on any supplements I can find on LIONEL's web site and it does not seem to be the same as the Red Baron pylon. 6-14079 is the Santa pylon. Thanks in advance.

It's probably more similar to the original 6-32920 airplane pylon from around 1999 than the red baron. I could have sworn there was an entry for the airplane pylon in one of the supplements on the website, but a search for the number did not find it. I'll check my printouts I made some years back to see if I can find it.
Are you looking because you are trying to take it apart to fix something, or to find a part number for something that is broken (maybe both?). Specific parts might be hard to come by (like the Santa & reindeer).

Thank you, Dave. I bought the Santa pylon and it is in pieces in the box. I am not the most mechanically inclined guy out here. The Red Baron pylon does not look like all the parts I have and in the Red Baron pix, the housing of the gears and motors is shown as one unit. I have several pieces that make up that unit.
If you go to the "Replacement Parts" page on the Lionel website and type in "pylon" in the text search box all of the different pylons will come up. Then click on the view parts button. I have the 32920 Lionel Airplane pylon and one of the tiny plastic gears in the gearbox is split. Unfortunately, there is no replacement for this gear, and in fact the gear box is no longer available. :-(
Perhaps you could make one out of resin? Dad has had some success casting hard to find small parts at home with different plastic resins.
