Anyone else think it is about time for Lionel to release a scale Legacy RDC or even an Amtrak MetroLiner? The last RDC they released was years ago, I personnelly think it would be a big hit. And make one in ReadingLines! What does everyone else think, would you by one?

Honestly, who knows if that could ever happen. But to be fair, I am surprised that no one else has made scale-sized RDC's, although I'm aware that K-Line attempted to make some back when they were still around. I personally want to get some of the 3rd Rail offerings (like the one shown above), so it wouldn't bother me if Lionel, MTH or anyone else doesn't ever make any scale-length RDC's themselves. I'm hoping that Lionel at least makes some Lionchief Plus 2.0 RDC's in the typical Postwar Style.
I would be interested in a scale RDC-3, and accumulated a couple of Lionel shorty shells to expand, but that is way down my to-do list, as RDC's are post my modeled period.

3rd Rail is offering a 3rd run of scale RDCs at this link. Unfortunately Reading is not on the list of road names, but PRSL is. I have two units from the 2nd run and they are outstanding.
