BigJim stated the below on the catalog post. Is 1210 going to be as stat d with the multiple bearing crossheads?

"Note that the #1210 is shown with "multiple Bearing Crossheads. Only engines 1200 - 1209 had the multiple bearing crossheads. 1210 should have the alligator crossheads."

Also Dave, I have no idea where or what that is on the locomotive.

Dave, please let us know if the Cab1/TMCC Base can be interfaced to the Base3 like it can with the Legacy Base.

I just watched the show - lots of interesting stuff for sure. The Cab3 definitely looks interesting, but I didn’t get a definitive answer to one major question... Will the Cab3 or the app allow me to have ID’s over #99 for any engines or sound cars/crane cars, etc. that I currently have – I am pretty much out of usable ID’s???

No. Classic TMCC and modern Legacy engines are absolutely limited to 2 digit addressing. We spent a good amount of time investigating options to make 4-digit addressing available retroactively, and it simply cannot be done. Not giving up there, we decided to put effort into a new Legacy radio concept that is going to be in the Class A and other future engines.

I know it's not the answer we all want, myself included. I have dozens of SP engines in my collection, and so wish I could use 4-digits on them.

Sometimes we have to live with the limitations of older technology and press forward with new development.

Thanks so much for the quick reply, Dave. You’re right... not what I was hoping for - guess I’ll have to consider eliminating some of the rarely used items in my current Cab2 to add some items I haven’t been able to add (mostly various sound cars).

Please enable us to map video game controllers to the CAB 3 app. That would add a whole 'nother level of playability to our layouts and iOS and Android already have some controller functionality.

Think about it. Its video games but in real life. Gen Z will be so into it ahha.

Is the tender lettering on the TAG  Berkshire going to be corrected to get rid of the spacing in the lettering?

Thanks for the video explaining the products in the new catalog. I look forward to future Demos with Dave episodes explaining more of the Base3 features. I really appreciate the future ability to address engines with 4 digits.

Will the Class As have Kadee mounts? I know they are going to have the Force Coupler, just wondering if that setup would be adaptable to a scale coupler.

Two Base 3 questions.

• We (The NJ Hi-Railers) tap the ground signal from the Legacy Base DB9 connector.  Will there be any way to do this for the Base 3?  We take that ground and run it around the layout to areas that a have a weak TMCC signal.
• Can the Base3 connect to our own WiFi so that people using the CAB3 app can connect from anywhere in out quite large (250 x 100) trainroom.   We have an MTH TIU/WIU config where we use the ethernet port of the WIUs to connect to our house network.  Any chance there's a hidden ethenet port of the Base3?
