so here is a new question for y’all: I recently came into possession of 5 new Scale Polar Express coaches. The problem was that 4 of the 5 coaches had axlebox covers come clean off in the box. Anyone else had this problem? It’s an easy fix but it’s kinda annoying considering how expensive these scale coaches are

Yes Dean, it is actually easy. however, it does take some patience and some good lighting to make sure the cover is in its proper place.
I have the same issue. Do the caps snap on? I see how lighting and fine tip tools are needed to rotate / position the mount

They do kind of snap on, BUT, the equalizing bar of the frame rests on the top of cap and holds it on. I can't find my photo of how it works, but, there are photos here if you search far and wide.
I used a bit of walthers goo to hold them in a second time. It appears to be working.
