Lionel searchlight cars modified for 2-Rail

I have modified a couple of Postwar Lionel 6520 searchlight cars for 2-rail operation. They were a fun and relatively easy project. You can read about them on my web site: Scale Art Models. I have also resumed the progress journal of our large O scale layout depicting the Duluth Winnipeg and Pacific RR on the same site.

Rob, the 3 dogs would eat 24 hrs a day if allowed, great companions. They will hang out with me all day while building models, but love to go when its time to get moving.
I am a comercial builder, I do layouts, structures and odd bits. I also have a small, but growing line of resin parts including an REA delivery truck kit in O scale. Check us out.
