This engine was delayed a bit due to new tooling and new tech. We're making new tooling for the electrocouplers and the smoke unit as well as the PCB design. I would say as of now though, a July 2020 time-frame is reasonable. Sorry I can't provide a more precise time than that.

Thank you, Dave.  I appreciate you taking the time to chime in and share some of the realities that are being navigated.

You and everyone at Lionel produced a great catalog again this year.  The variety of products designed and offered in the catalog is amazing.  Keep up the great work!

I'm also waiting to see the LCP 2.0 0-6-0T locomotives. I'm considering getting the Pennsy 0-6-0T and the LCP 2.0 PE Berk Jr. I figured I'd wait to see the reviews on them though before I pull the trigger. So far, there are a couple videos on YouTube showing the LCP 2.0 Berk Jrs. They seem pretty nice. I'm curious about how the sound quality (especially of the chuff and the whistle) will compare to the older TMCC Berk Jrs that I run. I'm also curious about the sounds of the LCP 2.0 0-6-0T's considering there is no tender which means less space to cram in all of the electronics and speakers. Fingers crossed though.
