Mr. Potrzbe, I know this is two years later, but I have seen your posts recently on other topics, so I know you're still on this forum.

My Lionel Tire swing 6-24168 ran all of about one hour for visitors to my layout, and then stopped. I was glad to see electronics and a motor and a gearbox inside the bottom because I thought the tree would have to be destroyed to get inside it. I managed to find some kind of Lionel part number for motor replacement cs-6304162500-p but it was not available. Probing with a voltmeter and an ohmmeter showed the motor to be a dead short, the power resistor on the regulator board was overheating, but when the shorted motor was removed, the voltage regulator was OK.

The short of it, I saw the Lionel tug-o-war looked possible for a motor, the picture in the parts list was the same except a spur gear versus a worm, and the part number was cs-6802107100-p, ordered it the past week, arrived today, swapped spur for worm, put back together, and it WORKS!

I sincerely hope this helps you and other Tire Swing owners with shorted and/or dead motors.
