you want...nobody is making anything anymore.

Yep. This works well. Depending on the truck you may need to place a shim under the plastic axle insert. I bought myself a multi-size hole punch and some various thickness plastic sheets and it works like a charm

Johnyspeed...is that a track cleaner in tow?

I tried this on Lionel modern roller bearing (with IRC 20050) and it caused a short across the truck frame.

I'm glad it works on the bettendorf trucks.

That sounds odd...shouldn't the Intermountain wheelsets be insulated on one side? The only way I can think of their shorting through the frame would be if the insulated wheelsets wound up on opposite sides of the truck (or something on the truck frame coming in contact with an insulated wheel).

Railride, I may have accidentally put the insulated wheels on either side.  Can't be sure, so maybe those rb trucks are candidates also.
