I was running this engine the other night when it just stopped smoking. i had just filled it only minutes ago. this unit has been one of my best that i have had for almost a year and have had no issues with it. it gets cleaned and serviced every month. so no abuse there. any ways pulled the cab off the the smoke stack was melted as if it got very hot. the smoke unit was not dry by any means. i pulled the stack off and nothing looked out of the ordinary. i ran it up on my bench and nothing was happening. i pulled it apart and olmed the heater and it was blown. i got a new replacement for it, installed it checked the olms and was all good. started the engine on the bench and no smoke, no power to the fan and no power to the heater. checked all the wires, nothing burnt all good no shorts. so did the mother board go south, what else can i check to verify its that? i did run power straight to the fan, works fine and also the new heater, smokes like a champ..
