Hi to all members of this fine community .
I bought a PS 3 board that was from an Sd 40 that was brand new so I could upgrade an SD 70 ACe.so first I unload the sound file in my lap top running windows 10 ,loader version 5 ,remote and TIU on 6.1 and is the Rev L version.
I found a file with playable horn but the loader showed NOT compatible so I went and found the right file for the SD 70 and I loaded the file to the board and it looked ok except that the rear markers would not light and tested them unplugged from the board and they light ok but not when they were connected to the board,the front green markers worked well so I swapped connectors and no light....mmhh the interior lights were on so I connected the red markers there and no lights???? I even tried a different set of marker lights and still did not work.
another issue is that when I turn the engine on only the right ditch lite is on but when I push the direction button right ditch goes off left comes on and viceversa everything else works just fine.I called my friend and asked Him if He knew what the problem could be and in his opinion MTH has loaded a protection like a copy right so You can only load files in the PS 3 kits.I tried loading and unloading the files again with no luck at all.
I would really appreciate any help or opinions from the experts.
