On behalf of the Railroadiana Collectors Association, we are pleased to announce our next virtual seminar will focus on locomotive builder plates and number plates with two longtime collectors.  We have been hosting this series of virtual events throughout the year to connect our members and share some great railroad memorabilia.  If you're interested in seeing some once in a lifetime plates off famous locomotives, how to get into the collecting hobby, or have questions on builders plates and number plates, this seminar is for you.  Joining RCAI is as easy as using your PayPal Account by visiting our simple on-line registration form.  For those of you who don't want to use our online form, you can contact our Treasurer, Bo Brown at (rub1458@charter.net) who can get you all the information you need to join prior to June 22nd.  Thanks for your interest!

So the invitation is to join the Railroadiana Collectors Association for $42 so that you can attend the seminar.

In reality you'd catch more fish if you were to have the seminars for free and then with folks poking around your website they may find that this is a worthwhile organization to belong to.

Through another non train related organization, I've been giving away free monthly seminars for over a year now.  We've had some excellent reviews and folks are more apt to join having experienced our offerings.

Interesting. I must assume that this is ONLY about steam locomotive builder plate information.

Jack - we will also be discussing diesel plates as well.  A major focus will be how to spot reproduction plates as well.

Allegheny - there are many more member benefits to joining RCAI besides the Seminars, including a 42-page, full-color, quarterly magazine focused on all facets of collecting railroad memorabilia and antiques.  2021 is our 50th Anniversary and we're trying to promote our organization and bring in new folks to the hobby. Advertising in O-Gauge Railroading is one of the many ways we're marketing ourselves for the future of the hobby.  Hope you'll look into joining us.
