O.K.  I liberated this photo from this thread on the 3-rail side: https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...68#80410241313350268

It shows the Flyer camp cars that were mentioned in the last catalog at the bottom of the photo:

LCCA Seminar

Hopefully some better pictures will turn up soon.

Here's an enlargement from the above photo:

LCCA Flyer

Looks like newly tooled sides for the standard Flyer boxcar.

I'll give credit for Lionel doing something that hasn't been done by SHS or AM this time around, but A: I'm not in the market for work train cars and B: The molded on roofwalks are a turn-off for scale guys like me.

These cars should be popular with the Flyer Folks to add to their Lionel/Flyer or Gilbert work trains.  I also suspect these camp cars will be available in Polar Express or North Pole Express for those enthusiasts.

Well, I'm kinda excited about a newly tooled Flyer car that isn't a copy of some Lionel O Gauge fantasy car.  I was not pleased with the quality of the detail (too coarse) or the premise of these cars.

AF48846 - GILBERT MINES MINT CAR [13AF)

I'm okay with a car with the quality of detail found in the 1950's Gilbert products, and I was okay with the quality of detail in Bay Window Cabooses in S that were retooled by Lionel

AF44111 - CHIC & NW BAY WINDOW CAB[18V1)

but disappointed in the quality of detail (again, too coarse) in the other new cabooses produced by Lionel

AF44110 - GN EXT VIS CABOOSE [17V2)

I probably will buy one of the camp cars and one of the kitchen cars unless the deco is hideous (like this).

AF49063 - ZOMBIE WALKING BRAKEMAN [13AF)
