I've run into a gap of information regarding early K-Line rolling stock kits. I have a few of these...box car, double door box car, gondola, flat car, hopper, tank car, depressed center flat car and caboose. All unlettered.
They come in blue and white K-Line boxes, with numbering series such as K5xxx etc. These do no show up in any guide or catalog or sales sheet I have seen. I speculate these were offered after MDK acquired the molds, but before he had secured rights to letter for railroads etc. That would put them in the 1986 time frame (?).
If anyone has info they care to share, I would appreciate. A pic or scanned copy of any flier, price sheet would be great.
