"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Just wondering if there are other LGB enthusiasts in the Nashville, TN area? My preference are the European narrow gauge models like the RhB, OBB and the other various German and Austrian 750 and 1000mm gauge railroads. These models done in the 1:22.5 scale are almost the size of US tinplate standard gauge, and are very large and colorful models. My collection of original LGB is modest (6 locos & 14 cars) and I have a single oval of R2 track, but it suffices. This is my third iteration into LGB, starting in 1978, again in 1997, an then in 2016. The only new Marklin LGB I own are two large RhB coaches, and they compare nicely to my Alpine Classic cars, though the interior lighting is dimmer (?). Hope to hear from someone in my area soon! THANKS! SOU722@aol.com

Tinplate Art, I think us large scale guys are a little rare on this forum.  I collect and run both O Gauge and Large Scale including my first foray into European trains, the LGB Orient Express cars pulled by a Piko Krokodile.  Still looking for more Blue/White Orient Express cars.  I would be happy to converse by email if you wish.  I am just getting into Euro trains after riding a few in Germany in October and am always looking for advice on them.

THANKS, FRED and CHRIS for your replies! I have been a customer of Hudson Hobbies for several years now, but his LGB stock is almost exclusively USA prototypes (frown!). My interest is primarily original (Saganer Strasse production) analog LGB models of OBB, RhB, lb. M.&StE, HSB, KPV and other 750 and 1000mm gauge European railways. Truthfully, I suppose I am a "lone wolf", and with my sub-clinical OCD, am very protective of my like-new, pristine, though operating, collection!  LOL!  ☺
