If you're trying to find a single car that is out of production my experience has been that an internet trawl is required using the item number that you have, including standard fle#bay searches. (I just tried this with respect to this car and see that you have already travelled the same route I have in the past!) The next best option is to scour the current dedicated train auctions - Stout Auctions and the like - where the car or the set it was part of are likely to come up sooner or later. 

The only consolation I can offer is that it will come up eventually.

Yes, I have done all these searches...just trying here too...never know what someone might have and be willing to give up for the right price.  It has been very tough finding this car or set.  Like it's non-existent! It's the last car I seek though...so, I'll keep on searching!
