Looking for parts

IIRC that is the same as all the other General engines so other than painted color I'd say yes. 

What's missing?

There are two pieces that sit on the front part of the engine. One is at the very front and the other is directly behind that one. Then there are railings that run along this same area from front to back of the engine. I have a picture if that would help.

Looking at the picture again it is missing the bell and housing and on the front looks like some sort of a lamp or light fixture.

Should make a new post on the WTB forum, but I would think chances of finding a complete shell that is cost effective are slim. You are better off actually finding another 8005 engine & tender.

Lionel typically has been having 1/2 price sale on parts, once a year (around Novmeber).   If their parts website has all the parts available, why not wait until then and get it half price and restore the shell you have.
