Hello, I'm on the hunt for a prewar 700e that has no metal rot (or zinc pest) or warpage. It has to run and be a show queen with no issues. Yes, I am willing to pay a fair price in the thousands for it.
No, I have not. I had a few people contact me. One Hudson was a "K" and very nice, no warpage or rot, but was painted grey primer and assembled. It seemed too much work to disassemble and paint black. The other has small warpage and paint nicks (warpage is okay, as long as it is slight and not too much $$$) but he wanted a very high price for it, $6500!
What condition are your Hudson's and and how much are you asking?
I will send you pictures. If I remember correctly one is a Kit built and the other is a factory built model. I have gone through them to see what is needed to make them run. I’m sure they need to be rewired and lubricated. They have been in my Dad’s collection for along time. He never ran them or did anything to them. Where can I send you pictures. We can talk about price after you see the pictures.
