Looking to Upgrade PS1 to PS3 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi,

I've been reading for a while and finally decided to join. I have two PS1 engines that I would love to convert to PS3, but I read through MTH's instructions and definitely don't trust myself to start cutting wires..

Anyway I have a 20-2190-1 Conrail SD80MAC and 30-2122-1 R-42 Subway Set. The 80MAC won't start up anymore, and I haven't tried to run the Subway in a while, but I assume it's board is probably shot as well from sitting around for years. I live in Staten Island and was wondering if anyone here does PS3 upgrades in the NY/NJ area or knows of any shops that do them.

Personally, if I were going to pay for an upgrade, I wouldn't limit myself to the area. Postage ischeap compared to a poor job.
