The Lionel Railroader Club (LRRC) 2012 Christmas Boxcar is up on the the club page on the Lionel web site.

It does say Christmas on the car!!!

"A joyous Christmas and A happy New Year"

The description is a little bit different from the made in U.S.A. cars in the Christmas catalog. It says "car body, assembly, and packaging proudly made in the USA!" So at least part of the car and part of the process is made in the USA.

It's a nice looking car. It has the new LRRC logo and I'm glad to see they went back to graphics that cover the full side of the boxcar. I think the full graphics create a more visually appealing car. The primary colors are silver, green and white.

It does look good!   ... and its another small victory in the war against political correctness in that it says "Christmas."  Congrats and thank you to our friends @ Lionel!  Now, I wonder what that carefully crafted statement about "car body, assembly, and packaging made in the USA," means, that the trucks are made in China?  Now I am pondering whether to shell out the $60 bucks for it.  Unfortunately, thats about the price of a tank of gas.
