Have been fussing with this whistle button control slide on and off for several months. I reconditioned it several years ago including a whistle diode up date and it has been my mainstay power unit for any engine or accessory repairs but over the last several months the whistle button set the reverse unit.  I tried bending the contacts and even putting a drop of solder on the fixed contacts with no luck and finally realized I had worn the slot where the four fingers move down to the point that when the button is pressed the fingers lift up just enough to break contact with the track power. Figured I had nothing to loose so I removed the spring and pried up on the bottom of the slider in an attempt to tighten things up. It worked, don't know for how long but its ok now.IMG_6966IMG_6967
