Rails Unlimited cars are spectacular 

I used one of my Rails Unlimited cars in my recent shoots of my L77 

The painting given to the Hills.  Look at the person to the left of the train engine and you will see it says Hill's Hobbies on the briefcase or package he is carrying.

I'm pretty sure I saw most of those models at the Indy show?

Finally a picture of one switch that is a batch of used but like new switches and track being sold.  I am very tempted to buy some of these before they are gone.  This one is $60.

FYI: I've seen a lot of boxes carried to rooms and I've bought multiple kits, decals,  3 brass cars and can't see turning down some really good deals.   Now to keep the credit card in take before I head to Des Plaines Hobby Shop on the way to the airport.

Any words from Midwest Model Works on delivery schedule?

Any word on the finest, MIA apparently along with his none existent model. 

Erik said the SD-45 will be delivered this year.......no date but this year.  His other stuff looks good so for a new company he seems to be getting it all in order.  I feel comfortable with him having my money for the SD-45.  The interior of the SD-40 is great so I may bite the bullet before it's over.

A great batch of shots, and they really give the 'flavor' of the show! Thanks much!!

Beautiful O scale as usual. Really wish I was there, but?. One picture suggests lower attendance?  Also thanks for the coverage.  jefferson

Attendance is lower due to the virus but people would see me taking pictures and move out of the plus I tried to get pictures when people weren't around.

For the last three years, the Rockford O Scalers have held a lightly attended layout tour on Saturday night in addition to the higher attendance one on Sunday afternoon.  About 20 people showed up last night which is more usual.  It will be interesting to see how many people show up this afternoon.

The layout tour at ROS today (Sunday) started slow but at about 2:45 the crowd started to build.  At one time there were about 30 people here (near the limit of what can be handled comfortably especially with todays situation).  Overall the numbers were probably down but not as down as I would have expected.  Had a great time socializing at the show and the layout tour.

Who made this NKP car and what is it constructed from - brass or styrene or something else?

That would be one of Dan Pantera's cars (Calumet Model Works?).

Same question for the C&NW car.

Don't know about those, but could also be Dan's work.

The C&NW cars are by 401 Streamline Models.  He produces a kit with metal sides.

I will be posting pictures from Sunday later today.

We debated on cancelling as to whether the show would be continue by higher authorities.  I was grateful it wasn't and only saw one person wearing a mask.  Everyone was civilized and I didn't hear one cough or snort the whole time there.  Many thanks to the Hills and the vendors who persevered to come.  I hope it can continue as it's a wonderful event.

Kanawha  (Ken),     The CNW cars are from a guy named Eddy Wichman. He uses the tagline "The 400".   I think he is out of Des Moines, IA, but that is a bit of a WAG on my part.

Looks like there are business cards laying on the table in one shot if you can enlarge then enough.

Eddy Wichman of 401 Streamline Models, lives in Delavan, WI. He did have a "engineer sample" of the CNW Observation but no delivery time or price. The observation car will complete the set of the car types for most of the "400" series passenger cars.

He did mention that he was in the early stages of producing the early CNW Bi-Level or Gallery cars, but again, this is in the very early stages.

Eddy is a really nice guy and is putting out a pretty specific product at a really nice price. Hopefully the market will support him.

Thanks for the correction on Eddie's location. It kind of surprises me that meet exhibitors don't look through the threads about the show, as someone always seems to be looking for information on this or that product.

Nice guy. We bought a car kit from him about 8 or 9 years ago. A few folks standing there inquired about the Obs since he didn't have a kit for it yet and they were hesitant about purchasing a train set without one. My guess is there will never be an Obs due to the funky tapered roof end the C&NW had.
