For you Marx operators with actual long-term train-running experience: would you recommend wheel lube (sparingly) on lightweight tin 4-wheel or 8-wheel cars? If it is on a display layout that might run all weekend for a train show?

Pro: reduce wear and roll easier
Con: picks up dirt and dust, might mess up finishes and wheels
