I am happy with mine.  It arrived Saturday.  I do need to glue two of the step-down transformer bushings back on, but no big deal.  I had thought of applying some brick siding on it to make it look a bit backdated, more like a station from the steam-diesel transition era I model, but for now the thick siding that simulates metal siding looks just fine.  My wife was impressed, and I know I have a winner there! (both the power station and my wife)

I had to glue some stuff too, reset a door, unbend a couple of garage doors from the somewhat crushed carton. It really helps that the outside box is adequately bigger than the inside plastic container. I would say that the glue requirements were created in manufacture. A bit sloppy fast job I'm guessing. But then...$99 for a train item as impressive as this tells the story.

This one is different from the one I bought last year. No blinking sign, but still lit. No flood lights on the sign. And the transformer red LEDs blink on this one, but not the first one. Other than that, maybe a little rougher construction, but still a great accessory.

Don't forget to select a free train car when you order...I did forget.

I'm delighted with my Menards buildings. For corner scenery on our club's modular layout I combined the Menards buildings with items from Korber, Lionel, and MTH. This scenery has been very well received.

The Homies are a tip of the hat to my former employer. Whenever the @#$% hit the fan at our pulverized coal boiler plant, the standard response was "ok, who let the clowns out"....
