Here it is guys !! Another great product from our friends at Menards. With a lot of action and placed next To Grandpa's barn [not included) looks great ! With many LED lites, it brings out a ton of action. Along with Jack the dog(which is very mad) the farmer trying to get his cow back, how much better can it get ? Order yours today before they sell out..Bob

Now that is really cool! What a great addition for adding a little fun back into the hobby! Well done Menards! Russ
Bob, can you let us know if those decals on the saucer are removable.
Thanks-Pete

Sorry, they are not removable, they are not decals
Uh...?
Agreed....the writing has to go..........
Nice piece....but they mucked it up with the writing in my opinion.

I saw a close up of the decals and yes it should be easy to remove them if you wish. 90% alcohol and a q tip they should come off very easily.

Who's going to be first to remove the decals?
......as soon as it arrives, Chris!
On the fence but leaning towards...yes.
Question: Does this accessory require a Menard's power supply? Or does it have those standard design clips like many other accessories so you can just tap into accessory power on the layout?
I know this is brand new but wondering if anyone knows the answer.

It needs the Menards power supply it plugs into the building.

Got it. Thanks, Chris.
Funny, I’ve been watching X Files reruns lately.
Bob the aliens hacked the main and stole your photographic evidence of their existence.
...or the bodysnatching pods shipped early and Bob isn't Bob anymore...
Come to think of it, I cracked a beer joke and nobody drank of it
We are doomed.... Doomed I say!
I have NO IDEA what happened !!!!!!

IMO, this Menards' accessory would be a great X-Files customization. Numerous story line options from the show could be used.
After looking at bobs saucer I don't see the film edge of the lettering to make me believe it is a decal.
Guess I will wait for mine to arrive to make sure. The lettering may be harder to remove then I thought.

Bob already said it isn’t a decal. It’s pad printed. The process of removing the lettering will be no different than the options listed in numerous threads on this forum for removing letters and numbers from various types of locomotives and rolling stock.
For example, here’s a thread from the last week alone:
https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...emembering-an-engine
For 100 bucks plus a power supply I'll wait and see what some of the reviews/impressions are here before I order.
Not a big fan of the lettering either.
