For the Holidays. I stopped by the local Menards yesterday and they have loaded up the seasonal toy section with train stuff. Significantly more than in past years. Lots of boxcars, gold line flatcars with loads, low end flatcars with or without loads and Lionel starter sets and it looks like the complete line of their scale buildings. The large bin with hundreds of diecast vehicles was also in place in one of the main aisles. Picked up a couple Volkswagon buses, BNSF forklift, and Wisconsin Central front loader for $2.99 each. Need another 11% rebate sale to take place ASAP.

I am guessing that a 11% rebate offer will begin tomorrow Sunday the 25th, When the current ad offering end on a Saturday that is often the case.

Just checked the Sunday paper circulars, Menards is offering 11% rebate through Saturday, October 31.
