Hello all ...the toy world was all about Christmas sales ...promote ,promote, promote ..Christmas comes but once each year and you only had single season to make it or break it. American Flyer produced a lovely window/ store display for the 1920 Christmas season featuring the happy Flyer owner (boy) and St Nick himself. So a Merry Christmas . may you never grow too old to excite at the thrill of a train racing out of a tunnel.

This display was reproduced at some point with and without the American Flyer identification. I wish I had one that identified it as American Flyer advertising. I'm still happy with the reproduction I have.

I think that there has also been one produced with a figure other than Santa Claus.
