Just have a couple of pups in this dogfight, but one is an unbuilt 4 bay hopper similar to that above, with MI-LOCO in the casting on the bottom. It came with several hopper ends/other parts, but has a broken coupler extension on one end of the center frame casting. The second casting kit is a complete boxcar kit in a Scale Model Railways (subsidiary of Megow) red box. Car side is 1/2" shorter than the hopper's, so may be O vs. 17/64. No fast way to get photos.
Hello 17/64ths fans .....
found on facebook today ... an old Life photo of soldiers playing with soldiers and Mini-Scale trains... resolution is not great ..but you just make out the outside 3rd rail on the first track ..and sweeps on tender .
That is a huge collection of Mini-Scale freight cars !!!...no wonder they are hard to find the Army bought them all .
Cheers Carey

That's one very interesting photo Carey, makes you wonder where all these models go, maybe the military has a top secret stash somewhere.
The Blue Goose you showed on the other forum was a real gem of a find, and I enjoyed the photos a lot. cTr....( Choose the Right )
I think I just scored a Mi-Loco K5 aluminum shell and steamchest for a few bucks. The chest is the raw casting. I have a couple of spare scale craft frames might see if it fits or not. If not willjabe to make a frame I guess.
Would love to use a set of these Baldwin drivers on it but I don't think the K5's ever got Baldwin discs but on the other hand, it doesn't really matter lmao.
On the other hand, anyone got a spare boiler front, tender or frame I'm all ears lmao

O! nice find Dennis, certainly looks like the Mi-Loco K5 to me. I think the Mi-Loco Hudson frame and drivers is much the same. Id ask Carey, if he has one kicking around he's willing to part with. cTr.....( Choose the Right )
This is the thread I need to point to when folks mistake Q Gauge for 17/64 Scale.
Starting a casual search for the Scale Craft Mikado mechanism - any condition.
Hello all
Here is a link to see the die -cast MiLoco ( Mini Scale ) Hudson pulling a string of the diecast cars ...all in lovely 17/64ths
