MI Trains inventory software

i use the CD based software to inventory My collection. I really like it and was bummed out to learn it is no longer supported, rather, only the web based version is. I was told there is no way to simply transfer your inventory to the web based version other than to "fat finger" it in. Has anyone who uses this software figured out a way to do it? another question: can you sort on model numbers to generate a report listing by model number?
