Hi all, we just got the notification that the Mickey Mouse 90th celebration set will be arriving at our doostep any day now. My wife is an avid Mickey Mouse collector so this should be fun. This will be the first new steam outline loco I have bough in a few decades. Most of the steam locos I buy are old enough to collect social security. Can anyone tell me how the tender connects to the loco? Is there a wiring harness I need to sintall, a wireless IR tether or drawbar, etc? Just want to know so that I know what to expect when unpacking and testing out this set.

I'm waiting to hear from my LHS for this set as well.

I did get the add on box car from the Disneystore.com on Saturday.

Since it looks like the same engine & Tenders as the Mickey & Friends Express Lionchief set, I would thing the draw bar is the same. Here is a picture from an ebay listing of that set.

So Lionel made a new engine for the 90th set?

It looks like the same 2-4-2. This was the only image I found online from the side.

Do you know which engine they did use?
