Very nice Peter, you and your group do a great service to the community. By the way, the layouts were featurtes in last month's AAA magazine; nice recognition.
Peter what fun! Am envious.

Another great setup!
Some conventional Pennsy action:

Hey Peter, can you do a "walk around" pictures (or video)? I would like to see each of the modules. Based on some of the pictures, it looks like you have some new ones from last year. Thank you.
The layout is looking great, Peter. Love those PAs.
Next weekend at our modular set up is "Classic Trains Weekend" where the public are invited to bring their childhood 3 rail trains to run on the layout. It's always fun to see what comes out of the attic or closet!
I bring a selection of PostWar trains to run. Here's a sample:
It's always a fun weekend!
Peter
Nice preview, Peter!
From Classic Train Weekend.......yesterday afternoon....
Peter
The past 8 days have been a real blast. Last weekend, we invited the public to bring their 3 rail trains in to run....many people obliged us and the trains were from the PostWar and Modern eras....
Here's a few pics:
Peter
A few quick videos of the "old trains.....

A few more....

Peter, That is really nice you let guests bring their trains to run! That should make some kids happy! We saw the first winner the other day, but I see you have two happy winners!
I’ll try posting one at a time......may work better.....
Looks great Peter. You guy's do a great job. Looks like you had great crowds each day.
Keep up the good work!
Bob
I traded with GunrunnerJohn earlier this year for these 64' Woodsided cars. Unfortunately, my N&W H3 Consolidation would not behave itself on the club layout. Brought it home for a test run. No problems. Big relief; I'd hate to have to send a engine with so few miles off for repair.
This is the bridge over my attic stairway. 9' 8 1/2" from the railhead to the stair tread. If there is a wreck, it will be spectacular!
...and some videos from the 1st of the year.....
Peter
Peter, It is always good to see the River City group photographs and videos! I don't recall the mountain scene with the tunnels before. Is that new? Is the yard inside a closed oval of modules, or do visitors have close access to that also? The yard looks like it would make things much more interesting than just ovals of track. Always great work!!
Peter, You guys do good work and look like your having fun. An update on the Blue Comet, the engine was damaged before it could be shipped from MTH, we got it Jan, 13 and will post pics of it this Tuesday running on the layout.
Another fantastic winter train season ended last Saturday, the 20th. 9 weeks of running trains....what a blast! Here are pics from the last day:
Peter
Here are a few more:
A huge crowd on our last day.......
This young lady received a Pennsy Lionchief set with some freight cars for Christmas....and, did a great job running it on the track with other consists....in fact, much better than Gilly and I who caused a few major crashes!
Take down is always sad.......
Nothing is going to move in this trailer!
All done!
Peter
Peter;
Your group continues to impress me with your outreach and your spectacular layout. I particularly enjoyed the variety of trains you run - something for everyone... passenger, military, circus... congratulations on a successful run.
A few videos:

Peter, Tom, and gang; great job once again! I see some other group members I met at York but I am sorry I forgot their names! Peter, thank you for posting all of these photographs for us!!
Thanks guys.....we really have a blast......this year I was really impressed with the number of kids who brought their trains to the layout on "Run Your Train Day".
Peter
I finally uploaded videos of 2 of our signature trains......Ben's Circus Train and my Army Train....
Peter
Both trains are very impressive!!! Thank you!!
As long as those trains are, they would wrap around my layout! Great to see them running.
BTW, I did not see it mentioned on the forum but I hope everyone saw the award from MTH the River City group won for their service to the hobby- check the new catalog, first few pages.
Congratulations to them!
I saw that award Hokie! Congratulations gents!!
We had our annual February breakfast meeting where we reviewed 2017, elected new officers and planned our agenda. It is always a breakfast meeting at my where I try to "poison" everyone with my pancakes.
My wife always saves the day with her v=creations made the night before:
Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Walnut Coffee Cake
Raspberry Biscuits
Tater Tot, Cheese, Sausage & Egg Casserole.
Newly Past President Bill brought OJ & Bacon and Gilly fired up some sausage patties.
A good breakfast helps us prepare for those long cross country runs....Here are some pics....
Peter
That time of year again already!!!! Wow, what a spread! I can see why everyone is sitting around at the end. Too much food and snow outside. No one wants to move!
Thank you for the photographs!!
Peter;
I assume that is "medicinal" cognac on the counter should your pancakes achieve their intended aim??? Congratulations on a great year and wishing you and the group an even more successful 2018.
Latest update......
We had a few issues with clearances for larger equipment. Ken (Kanawha) is making a clearance car to use as we re-design some of our line-side and overhead scenery.
Since I have some unique engines (in relation to other group members), here I am testing clearances.
