Morton Salt

That's going to look good in the corner. Where did you get the Morton salt truck?

Glenn - I found it on eBay.  I just checked online and saw several, including one like mine.  Just go to O-Scale for the category and search for Morton Salt.

Just found it thank you Allen

Glenn,

Thank you for posting !!  Wow !!  That is great work. I just got my building today. You have really enhanced the building. You have inspired me to do something else with mine. The pictures and paint suggestions are big help. If you have more pictures of your work on the complex would you mind posting them. We can learn a lot for your wonderful work. Please post more as you continue.

It appears that you separated the building from the base, did you?

How did you do that?

I had to make room and found a place on my small switching layout, but would like to add buildings like you did.

No it's not separated from the structure my yard is made out of 1/8 inch MDF and it butts right up against the base of the factory.

Thank you all for the compliments, it really means a lot  coming from members of this forum. As requested here are a few more photos.

You know Glenn, looking around your layout in the pictures, I started thinking you might be an alter ego to Cabinet Bob! You both have a large load of Menards Buildings! Just sayin! LOL

Looks great either way!

Cabinet Bob is a great ambassador for Menards. He inspires a lot model railroaders, myself included.

Paul,

Your Morton Salt complex is really nice. Could you post more pictures of what you did? How did you make the other structures?  Did you remove the Menard's base from the Salt Factory?  or just modify it?

Lucky to have Paul and Glenn post their wonderful work on this great forum.

Really great work Paul.

Thanks

Tom

Glenn, I agree about Cabinet Bob! I am happy to call him a friend! Met him here is Seattle for the LCCA convention and sale. Great guy in person as he is on line! HI DAD!

Sure Tom, will post more pics soon.  I did not work on this structure. This was a team effort by other NJ Hirailers club members and they deserve the credit.
